We want students to learn how weather affects their lives and what to do during each of the five weather storms we will cover: thunderstorms, tornadoes, heat waves, blizzards, and hurricanes. Our unit will be a project-based unit and will be centered around creating an informational safety brochure about what to do during these storms.
